Dearly Beloved,

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Today is the beginning of a new month and 5 months have gone by. Each one of us would have had a different journey to date. Something good, something bad, difficult times and maybe don't know what to tell kind of a journey.

But one thing you must remind yourself that His word is true and He never forsake us.

I would like to talk to you today about God's timing. We would have heard numerous messages about God's timing but I want to share with you something I learned in a different perspective.

We all know about the story where God divides the Red Sea for his chosen people to leave Egypt and enter the land filled with milk and honey.

It is a story that would have registered in each one of our minds. We all know how the Israelites started their journey from Egypt and how they kept complaining throughout their journey. We also know that the King of Egypt changed his mind and wanted to go after all the Israelites.

God put a pillar of fire between the Egyptians and the place where the Israelites had camped and divided the Red Sea so that His people could reach the land He destined for them without letting the Egyptians near them.

Many times in life we come across situations that hold us down and we feel we are stuck. At the right time God brings you out like He did with the Israelites and no matter how much we complain about the path, He carries us to the destiny He has planned for us. It may not be what we want but it is always for the best.

He not only protected his people from the Egyptians by placing a pillar of fire but directed his people to keep moving. In many situations, when the enemy is nearing, we tend to halt and feel everything around us is crashing. But instead, listen to His still voice and He will give you the directions like He did to His people.

The best thing I like about this crossing is that, when all the Israelites were almost reaching the other end of the Red Sea, the Egyptians enter the Red Sea. One end of the Red Sea, we have the Egyptians charging with chariots and horses that were bred to run and the other side Israelites who were walking with cattle, family, babies, old people etc.

God's timing was perfect that even though the Egyptians were powerful and had everything to catch up with Israelites, the gap was huge. They couldn't even come close to the Israelites.

Once the last of the Israelites crossed the Red Sea, God closed the Red Sea. Most of the Egyptians were consumed by the Red Sea.

Similarly, in life we come across situation we moan about why-what-how, but God is in control and he has the perfect timing for everything that happens in life that you are not consumed by the problem but the problem gets consumed in God's power.

I would like to leave the below verses with you as a Promise to encourage you that His timing is perfect and no matter what He will walk with you .

Ecclesiastes 3:11  He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
