Dear children, to whom my Lord longs to get closer to Him, greetings and blessings in the name of Jesus.
It’s such a stage of life where you little children will be so much busy in your academic syllabi. Dreams and wishes always flash our minds regarding our success in academics and so on. I would love to present a small story to you.
Two little boys, who were friends and classmates, preparing for their upcoming exams. On the day of exam, at the last minute preparation, one among the two was doubtful and looked help from another. His doubt was clarified with a very good explanation. And the time which was spent in clearing doubt made the boy who helped to not revise the concepts which he planned to do at that time. The invigilator called all the students to get inside the exam hall immediately. Since he couldn’t revise as he helped his friend, he became so nervous and his heart rate rose thinking, “what would happen if that unrevised concept be asked in the question paper?” Regrettably, that same unrevised concept was asked. He was pondering over and over to grab the concept from his memory, yet he couldn’t get it, and he gave his best in that question. He went back to home with tears and disappointment. He prayed and prayed about his score. And when his exam score was released, his face became dead. In that specific subject, he was not given even 1-mark for the answers which he wrote for that question and his rank in the class fell. He wasn’t able to face his friend and left home quietly as the other boy advanced in rank.
“Why? Why?....Why is this to me? How much I prayed to God… Why He didn’t show me favor as I helped my friend”, resounded in his heart. Then he opened his bag to take out something, and he was insisted to take out his Bible from it. He opened it and there struck him a word,
