Dear friends in Christ,
How many of you sit and analyse everything that happens in your life? I am one of them!!! I wonder how things go perfect and also how things fall apart. I was sipping a hot cup of coffee one early morning and wondering [Sshh!!! That's my "me time":)] how things go perfect sometimes in life and how they don't. So I thought to share what I learnt, with my lovely friends in Christ.
The bible says in Isaiah 64:8 that Jesus is our Potter and we are the clay. A potter's work is to make a lovely masterpiece out of clay. If you haven't seen a potter make the pot, this is how he does. He spends hours preparing the clay. Once the clay is ready, he starts turning the wheel and puts a portion of the clay in the center of the wheel. From the moment the clay is on the wheel, the potter's hand is always with it. He uses both his hands to mold the clay and when he looks out for a tool to decorate his pot, he makes sure that one hand is still supporting the pot. This is how God holds us in His hands and molds us. From the moment you were created in your mothers's womb He molds you in to a masterpiece. There is only one person like you and that's you. In Ephesians 2:10 we read that "For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us new in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago." When the potter makes a pot, he has a purpose for the pot like how you and I are called for a greater purpose. This is how life will be when you let our heavenly Father take control of your life. The verse from Ephesians also says that, He has planned good things for us long ago. He has planned the right place for your education, right time for your job, marriage etc. Anything and everything is planned way long ahead. In Jeremiah 1:5 we read, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you". He had the whole life of you planned even before you were created in your mother's womb.
