The seven Spirits that rested upon Jesus are listed in Isaiah 11:2.
And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.
1. Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him
The Lord Jesus was the first man upon whom the Spirit rested. Though many prophets and seers had the Spirit of God in their lives, they only had the Spirit of God living in them, He did not rest upon them. There is a huge difference for the Spirit to come in you and for the Spirit to come upon you. When he Spirit comes in you He comes for you, to lead you, guide you to convict you of sin and righteousness but when the same Spirit comes upon you, He comes for others. You then become His blessed instrument to convict others of their sin, guide others in the way of life. The old testament prophets had the Spirit in them, but the Spirit would come upon them only when it was necessary. But the baptism that Jesus offers is different, now the Spirit comes upon you and can rest upon you. The Bible records that Stephen was a man full of the Holy Spirit. It doesn’t mean that the other apostles were lacking the Holy Spirit it means that the Spirit of God was resting upon Stephen in a very special way just like how He rested upon Jesus.
2. Spirit of Wisdom
When we have the Spirit of Wisdom it causes our faces to shine.
Ecclesiastes 8:1 ... man's wisdom makes his face to shine, and the boldness of his face shall be changed.
The phrase ‘your face will shine’ is most often used to represent honor or promotion amidst your fellow workers or friends or relatives. But it also means that when this Spirit begins to rest upon our lives, it not only brings you honour and favour but it can literally make your faces shine with a divine light and God makes your face to shine when men are around you to affirm everyone that He is with you. It happened to Jesus on the mount of transfiguration and to Stephen when he was being stoned to death.
