He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding. – Proverbs 15:32
My Brother and Sister in Christ, Greetings to you in His blessed name!
Reading the word of God is important. You might have heard this over and over again. Today, let me tell you that reading the word of God completely is very important. I would like to emphasis the word “completely” in my last sentence to you as this is my message for you today and I believe in the Lord that it will be a blessing to you.
Many a times, even those who read the bible everyday or use day planners or year planners to read their bible neglect a few Chapters or sometimes a few books of the Bible. Let me tell you the books I did not like to read or the books which I neglected because I felt they were very boring to me even when I had a thirst to read the Bible. They were very few books like the first and second Chronicles, Numbers, Leviticus and a few others like them. Through the years I have felt and realised that ignoring these books or even a chapter of the Bible may lead to misery. Let me give you a small example, just one instance from the many that I have personally missed out and also the Holy Saints themselves in the Bible. If you are wise you will take this seriously before the devil can trick you into pain.
