Hello,

This year, 2025, God will help us manifest and bring forth our destinies and fruits. If you haven’t read this year’s promise, here’s the link: 2025 Promise

Each month, we’ve been looking into what we could do from our end to bring this promise to fruition. For June, let’s look into:

Psalm 1:2-3 “But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.”

Delighting in the Law of the Lord is to obey God with a joyful heart. You can obey the law of the Lord without pleasure, but the Scriptures say that a person who delights will be a tree bearing fruit in each season. Delighting ourselves in the Word is to love the Word and be joyful when we obey the Word. We can read the Word because it is important to do so, but do we treasure the Word? Do we delight in the Word?

Has the Word become a joy to you? It’s easy to say, “YES, I love the word of God”, but the truth will be revealed if you can answer this question: How much time do you spend in the Word each day? Do you do it delighfully or is it just a to-do list to avoid guilty conscience?

Job is a good example of a person who delights in the Word. Job says in Job 23:12, “I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my daily bread.”

Meditating on the law of the Lord is not just reading the Word, but to ponder, re-think, re-read, utterring under our breath, speaking the Word in our heart and mind until we become one with that Word.

Meditation (concerning the Word) is not emptying the mind, but the opposite; it is to fill our mind and heart with the Word of God.

Meditation is one of the key ways to abide or remain in Christ. The Lord said, “But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!” Meditating on the Word of God day and night makes us remain in the Lord and produces fruit.

Prayer:

Dear God,

Help us to both delight and mediate on the law of hte Lord and help us to do it day and night without ceasing. Help us to pray Your Word and be full of Your Word.

Anoint us with your Spirit so we may fulfil Your purpose by producing all our fruits that is due this year.
