THE SHEKHINAH GLORY – THE MANIFEST PRESENCE OF THE TRIUNE GOD – THE YEAR 2024!

“O God, when you went out before Your people, 

When you marched through the wilderness, 

The earth shook; 

The heavens also dropped rain at the presence of God; 

Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.” 

Psalm 68:7,8

Greetings to all our precious friends in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! It’s so exciting for me to bring to you this year’s promise Word from the Lord! It’s indeed a joy and a blessing unimaginable to be called the Sons of the Almighty God! 

Are you excited? The Lord of the whole universe who calls you His own Son is bringing this word to you. Believe. 

As I was contemplating whether it’s appropriate for me to use this term in my blog, I found it interesting when I strangely found the Lord’s love through it! Our so-called modern-day generation often uses the abbreviation PDA – ‘public display of affection’, most often in a teasing sense to people who are not able to keep in secret their affection for their loved one in public.

As this word suddenly struck my head it seemed weird to me when this train of thought followed. In the history of the world, there has been no one better who showed PDA more than the Lord did! – Yes, you heard me right. He was & is the Greatest Lover of all time to show the most public display of His affection than anyone else ever did in history!! 

It says in Exodus 13:21,22 “And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night a pillar of fire to give them light, to go by day and night. 

He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar of fire by night from before the people.”  

Genesis 9:13 records, “I set My rainbow in the cloud and it shall be the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.”

In fact, there is an entire Psalm that records His public display of affection for His people Israel!

Psalm 136 records that He struck Egypt in their firstborn, brought out Israel with a strong and outstretched hand, and divided an entire Red sea into two for His people to cross over on dry ground but overthrew the enemies – Pharaoh and his army in the sea, led His people through the wilderness, brought down great kings for them and gave them a land flowing with milk and honey!! 

Now, my friend, I would like you to take a moment, sit back, close your eyes, and imagine all these incidents recorded above. 

How do you feel? It enthralled me that a God who owns the universe and even beyond, would in His jealousy (Deuteronomy 6:15) show so explicitly to what extent He would go for that which is His! 

My dearest friend, this year The Lord exclusively promised me that HE would reveal His manifest presence, The Shekhinah Glory over any child of God who chooses to believe. 

Genesis 2:7 records, “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils (His) the breath of life; and man became a living being.”

It thrills me to see whenever a cardiac arrest patient is resuscitated, how every breath matters, every moment of trying to revive the heart is precious to keep that life! And precisely my friend that is exactly what the Lord did when we died in the garden of Eden and lost His breath of life. Died to His glory and presence that was manifested in us. 

But what was to come following that was probably something that mankind would have never expected, never imagined - the greatest public display of affection one has ever done in history or will ever do in the days to come.  

Psalm 22 describes a Saviour who hung half naked on a Cross - bleeding, beaten, mocked, cast away, considered less than nothing, murdered so you and I could be restored back to the Glory that’s due us, a glory lost due to our disobedience. 

John 20:22 says that after the Lord had risen, He met His disciples in the closed room they were in, scared to death of being executed, comforted them and this word shakes me to the core every time I read it – He breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” 

Psalm 68:7,8 says, “O God, when You went out before Your people, when You marched through the wilderness, the earth shook, the heavens dropped rain at the presence of God; Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.”  

My friend, the Lord is waiting to show His manifest presence and glory on you this year, His public display of affection! 

He is awaiting an encounter with you. Are you ready?
