In the busy schedule of your life, I find myself glad to meet you through this thought. The world is so busy that people don’t have time to love, admire, relax, rejoice, spread the joy and share the goodness. Parents do not have time to spend time with their kids and the Children with the parents. Many even do not have time to think of these in the long run of their work and business. In such a busy world, do you think that everyone is expecting the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Most of them do not even think about God. And in the midst of this, there are people who are in fame, deny the very existence of God. The Gospel has become something that is not concerned about or unwelcomed.

After the resurrection, at the verge of His ascension Jesus gave a last command to the disciples from the core of His heart.

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15”

Does a man have to restrain from all the works that he is employed, to fulfill this command of Jesus Christ? Or do you think that sharing your Faith to others is impossible in this busy world?

I knew a Young man who is a challenge to all. His name is Stephen. The Apostles of Jesus Christ have chosen this young man to serve tables in the congregation of the believers. The word of God testifies about Stephen as “a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 6:5)”. This young man, full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, could not keep himself from sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the Light to this World. “And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people. Acts 6:8”. Did it cost him something? Yes! He was stoned to death. This Gospel that he shared unto his death, was unwelcomed by the angry mob who stoned him. But the light in the Gospel, was never put out. It shined brightly in Saul’s way as he was heading towards Damascus. “And as Saul journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven. Acts 9:3”. Though he was busy and with a hard heart to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the light of the Gospel consumed the darkness in him. Later in his life, Saul understood the importance of the Gospel in everyone’s life. Tasting the Gospel that Stephen was preaching, Paul (Saul) writes to his young companion Timothy,

“Preach the Word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. 2 Timothy 4:2”.

Young man! Young woman! When every soul needs the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, don’t fail to lift it high in this dark world. The world might seem to be busy and nobody seems to expect the Gospel. They might be unwilling or even angry towards the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But you know not the soul in every man and woman that is longing for the light, The Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus said “You are the light of the world. Matthew 5:14”.
