Dear Friend! God has blessings stored upon you which can transform your life to be a blessing to many. Yes, you can be this person. The bible is full of secrets on how to receive the blessings that God has planned for us. Let us look at one important secret, which I consider very important.

Psalms 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

What a beautiful verse! The Psalmist says, delight yourself in the Lord or take joy in the Lord and the Lord will grant you the desires of your heart. The desires of our heart does not mean the evil desires that our heart might have or anything that is of the world – lust of eyes, lust of flesh and pride of life. God hates them. But, when we surrender to God’s will, which is the best you can ever live, and seek His Will by delighting yourself in the Lord, you get the blessings God has promised you.

How do we delight God? There might be different ways people delight themselves in God. The secret is when you delight yourself in God, or make God your joy or happiness, God is delighted over you and that is why He cannot stop blessing you. You can make Jesus smile when you take joy over your salvation, meditating or thinking on how lost your soul was and how God found you and made you whole. When we delight ourselves this way by rejoicing in God, thanking Him for our salvation – God becomes happy. I know that Jesus smiled when I gave my life to God and the whole of heaven rejoiced along with Him in joy over me. This is one way.

The other way is reaching out to souls that are still not found, souls who are still blind to the love of God, and people who have still not experienced Jesus. When we preach or convey the good news of God’s salvation, people’s eyes are opened and remember that when one soul is saved Jesus smiles and the whole of heaven rejoices. Now you have made Jesus smile. Can you do this? Just in places where you go every day, in your free times. Do this and make Jesus smile. I am sure if you do this with all your heart, the promise of Jesus will come to pass in your life, “you will not lack anything in the world now or forever more.”

Dear Jesus,

Help me live a life that pleases You in the best way  Lord and  make me an instrument of  power of Your love to bring the lost souls to Your presence and make You smile.
