Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning. Psalm 30:5

Dear in Christ,

Have you been weeping for a while with none by your side? Do you feel you are alone even when your family and friends were just by your side? Are you crying for something deep within your heart that nobody is interested to listen to? Were you expecting your loved one to comfort you but all you had were only words that broke you more?

The Lord promises you ‘joy’ this month. Just as the verse above says, joy comes in the morning and your morning has come. The Lord will be your morning; He is going to be your sunshine this month.

Jesus said, “Ask and you will receive”. I have asked the Lord to bless you with the joy of the Lord. This joy will not give you the strength to have a fake smile on your face but instead will make your sorrows disappear. This joy will give you the strength to turn all your challenges into victory, to turn all your tests into testimonies.

It is the ‘joy of the Lord’ not the joy of a man.

When God decides to wipe away the tear of a person, there is no other power, not one that will even dare to make them cry and be assured today as you read these words that, God Almighty has decided that you will be filled with joy, joy for all that you have been through, joy for all that you have lost, joy for all the shame you had. What does your medical report say? Did it make you feel bad? Jesus said, “Your sorrow shall be turned to joy”. Now, thank God for the sorrow, yes thank Him for the sorrow because God has decided to turn that very same sorrow in your life to joy. God is not going to make you happy by bringing something else while you have the same sorrow growing in you. No! That’s not my God, that’s not JESUS. He will make you smile in the very place you cried, He will make you laugh over the very thing that stressed you out. He will make you proud in the very place you felt ashamed and He will make you rejoice in the same disappointment. The Lord will heal you of your disease and pain. He will give you favour in the eyes of your manager and professor.

Believe and you will see the Lord turn things around.

May the good Lord be your light and make your darkness a light, your sorrow a joy and your mourning into dancing.

Prayer

Dear Father

You are the light of life! Today Lord, I pray with tears that Your Word will be fulfilled in my life and in the life of my dear one. Please accept this prayer for your Son Jesus’ sake and fill me with Your Joy today and in the days to come. Let your name alone be glorified through me.
