Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe. John 11:14-15
Lazarus was dead and four days later Jesus visited the grieving home. Not to weep, not to comfort, but to resurrect. He said unto Martha, “I am the resurrection and the life” John 11:25. Jesus stood at the entrance of the cave where Lazarus was laid and He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth.” And he that was dead came forth, alive. Oh, the glorious act of God! What was in Jesus that gave Him such an authority that at His command, the dead rise? Here’s the blessed answer.
